Review on 200Lb Workload Trailering Motorcycle Equipment by Jim Polacek

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I've used them to tie down low voltage lights

I've used them on tree branches to secure wires that carry our new low voltage string lights. They don't cut into branches like a cable and stretch out as the tree grows. The black color matches the suspension cable and light cords. Because these harnesses must wrap completely around the limb and have an open loop end for attaching the light cord, you must allow for the limb's circumference as well as a few inches for the open loop. They worked well on 4″ diameter limbs and with enough straps to allow the limb to grow over the years. I don't think they will work on limbs larger than 5 inches in diameter. I can't say anything about durability yet, but they seem to be well made. Since my loads are fairly low, I expect years of use from them, but time will tell.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Large and bulky
