Being pointless; They should be decent headphones for this price. The headphones I will be comparing are the Apple AirPods Pro (hereinafter referred to as "Air"), the Sennheiser CX 400BT (hereinafter referred to as "CX"), and the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 (hereinafter referred to as "MO"). We continue. *Sound* All 3 sound great, but the MO was the clear winner, delivering the most realistic sound, including all the subtle highs and lows. The air wasn't a second too wide; it lacked depth in the highs The CX wasn't far behind the Air, it had the best sound, but it had major noise-cancelling issues, see below *Noise-cancelling* Air definitely has the best noise-cancelling for me, it's not super cool, but for the suitable for most situations. It's probably as good as you'd expect at this price point but can't compare to in-ear headphones. The MOs weren't too far behind and might even have a better sound noise cancellation, but due to plumbing issues downstairs, the seal wasn't good enough to cancel out most of the noise around me. The CX doesn't have noise cancellation. I didn't realize how problematic this could be, but when I actually manage to close the headphones properly, I hear my own breathing (no mouth breathing, btw!) music. That was a deal killer for me. Otherwise the CX would be on par with the others and would cost half. However, as mentioned above, real headphones don't fit in my ears; I seem to be right between small and medium buds. The Sennheiser headphones screw into the ear and fit like sports headphones, which is nice but also annoying. The Air earbuds fit much better, but they don't stay in my ears at all; The slightest movement and they fall out. I bought them "earhooks" and now they fit my ears perfectly. However, the ear hooks only add a silicone hair to the optics of the headphones, which made me uncomfortable after a few hours (note: this has nothing to do with real headphones). *Battery* I mean the Sennheiser battery lasted way longer than the Airs (full time). However, I didn't pay attention to how long they took to charge in their case. The Airs only seem to last 6-8 hours (I gotta say I have long work days haha) but I watched their charge levels for a few minutes when I first charged them and they are around 1% for 10 hours charged. 15 seconds. Assuming it actually maintains this pace, a full charge takes 16 to 24 minutes, which seems pretty good to me. One charge depleted the Air-Fall by 20%, giving you 5 charges of it. Unfortunately, I can't remember most of these things about Sennheiser. Sennheiser may have a slight advantage in that they have more controls at their disposal, but some of them don't make sense to me and there's no way to reprogram them (as far as I can tell. It might be possible via their app). . , but I'm assuming it's device specific and I want them to work the same across all devices. Also, both Sennheisers have issues with all the controls being right on the front of the headphones, making it almost impossible to get them into the ears to poke.without touching your face. The Airs CANNOT CONTROL THE VOLUME! Serious?! You have to control it from your phone/hearing aid. It absolutely drives me nuts (at least 20 times a day). The Airs actually has a button on the bar for all controls to be clicked. I was under the impression that it seemed seamless, touchscreen-like; It's not like this. Finally, based on their product description and reviews, it seemed like the Airs could only connect to Apple products, but judging by their incredibly short manual, it seems that it could actually connect to any Bluetooth device (unfortunately all I have - These are Apple products so I can't verify). All 3 earbuds will pause the music when you take them out which is nice. I'd really like to turn them off (without putting them in a suitcase) but none of them allow that. The Sennheiser had bigger fit and noise-cancelling issues, while the Air had bigger interface issues (lack of volume control) and didn't stay in the ears without help from the ear hooks.
