The Steamfast steam mop is ideal for everyday cleaning, especially cleaning the kitchen floor after dinner is prepared. Best of all, no chemicals are needed! WHAT THIS PRODUCT IS USED FOR: The Steamfast Steam Mop is a replaceable (i.e. non-cordless) compact handcrafted steam mop. It comes with two microfiber mop heads and one for use with a steam mop on carpets. Assembly is easy and requires joining three parts, which takes a whopping 30 seconds. It comes with a funnel spout tumbler that makes it easy to fill the onboard water tank. Thanks to its compact size, it only holds about 2 cups of water, which is enough for 10 minutes of continuous vaping. At the time I used the steam mop the 10 minute figure was accurate as was the advertised time to heat the water at around 30 seconds. If you run out of water and have some cleaning left, simply add more water. Really easy! The mop is light and manoeuvrable. WHAT I USE IT FOR: I use this product for daily kitchen cleaning. I used to rely on damp mops that would always dry before I was done cleaning, not to mention they had chemicals in them. This product is so much more convenient than a spray mop and works even better in half the time without chemicals or the added expense of changing towels! When I recorded the videos I included in this review. Even if you haven't vacuumed before, you can still see how well it works on a dirty kitchen floor. It's perfect for everyday light cleaning like this one. Ready to use in no time and easy to clean afterwards. No fuss with cloths and assembly and such. In fact, it's that convenient. Yes, and the mop heads are machine washable, but I've found that hand washing will suffice in a pinch. WHAT THIS PRODUCT IS NOT: This product is not designed for heavy cleaning. Even if you could use it this way, it wouldn't be the most efficient way to deep clean your floors. It's just not designed for that kind of use, so don't expect it to suddenly transform your years-neglected floors into pristine wonders to feed on. However, it really stands out as a practical solution for normal daily floor care such as cleaning the kitchen. OVERALL: This product really works and it works well. At around $60, this is a great alternative to chemical cleaners with the added benefit of being faster, more effective, and safer.
