I use this for a 5 gallon water jug. I looked at water dispensers and they were very expensive. Then I found it! I didn't even know it existed! I have very hard water with a lot of calcium and limescale so I decided to buy 5 gallon jugs to fill at the store. I only use it to fill my Kurig and regular coffee pots and my cat fountain so I don't need hot or cold water. What I really like about this pump is that I can rotate the jug to face my Kurig's water tank and the spout pours water in perfectly! No more unplugging the water tank and waiting for it to fill up with filtered water from the fridge door! I love it! Just as easy to use. Press the top button to start the water flow, press the top button again to stop the water. So easy! A few days have passed and the pump has never been recharged. Other people's reviews say the charge is enough for 3-5 large jugs of water. It's good. You can also take this with you on the go if necessary. I plan to take this campsite with us when we travel with our motorhome. You REALLY need to use those plastic fenders. What is good. I bought 6 of these and they are reusable. So if you don't have those caps you could probably get by with a thick layer of rubber bands around the top of the bottle neck to ensure the pump sits nice and snugly on top. Directions are bad. It does not make sense. There are no actual step-by-step assembly photos. Completely useless, but it's something you can luckily figure out for yourself without them. Even if this pump only lasts 6 months, it is worth the money. Good inexpensive. I love it!
