I have both this folio and the official Apple folio so here is a real comparison. My moko case fit well so it's possible others got a poor quality batch. The moko's body is about twice as thick, but it also appears to weigh twice as much. This is clearly noticeable and somewhat limits the capabilities of the iPad due to the additional weight. I suspect Apple's magnets could be stronger, and Moko compensates by increasing the size of its own magnet. The Apple Case's microfiber lining is twice as thick as the Moko and softer. The moko lining seems to be sufficient for protection. The tri-fold lid magnets on the Apple case also feel stronger and stick much better, the magnets on the back feel similarly strong. I've never felt my iPad could fall out of a Moko case. Overall, the Moko case is excellent value for money, but people with weak wrists/hands may tire of using the iPad due to the extra weight breaking the case. experience a little. I like the Apple case better for my needs as I just wanted to protect something when I put it on another surface and have a tablet case to put it down. If price is an issue, the Moko case should fit. If not, then go to Apple.
