It's not the ideal storage solution for an iPad stylus, but it's probably better than buying something that sticks to the case and breaks when you fold it to close the iPad support. The sleeves that the pencil comes in aren't the most attractive, and I've also read in reviewers that not all pencils (especially if they're not sold) fit in the slot. This case has enough room for a pencil, and if you want to save an extra tip, there's room too. To attach this to the case, you have two options: 1. Wrap the rubber band around the entire iPad. However, if you want to open it, you must remove it. 2. You can only put it on the top cover, and the elastic band rests on the front of the iPad. I'll put a protective film on it, so I don't mind, but it sure does. Watch out for scratches unless you use a screen protector. Another downside is that a cased iPad doesn't easily fit in a bag or backpack because you have the extra height of the pencil case. You can't do much about this either. The price is right and it is fixed. does his job. I am very happy with my purchase.
