Slippery seat on this chair, still trying to solve the problem

Update: I returned this chair to Safco after two weeks in favor of a Songmics standing desk chair. In short, the Songmics has a smaller saddle diameter, which some might not like, but you don't slide off at an angle like the Safco, which has a slippery saddle material. Songmics doesn't turn at the top like Safco, I'll miss that. It has a "rocking" base that I like more when I use it. It has a stronger plunger when you sit down and doesn't sag at all, unlike the Safco, which sags an inch or two when you put weight on it (some might prefer it to be softer in some way). The Songmics only have a button on the bottom to move the seat up and down, unlike the Safco, which has a ring all the way around; The ring is undoubtedly easier to find and pull out when needed. So no stool is an easy task, but overall I choose Songmics. Check it out when you compare them. The price is about the same at the time of writing. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VV2CNGZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 SongOriginal Review: I loved this Safco stool which I wanted to use when transitioning from a fixed seat to a standing desk. It looks very good, comes in 3 parts and only takes a few minutes to assemble. I like the raise/lower ring under the seat, it's easy to get and use. I chose this seat in part because the top lap of the seat rotates 180 degrees on its own (no base movement) and the seat diameter is larger than some competing models. It is very comfortable to sit on a stool or partially lean on the seat. But this stool is meant to be used (sometimes) at an angle, tipping the base forward if you partially lean on it when you tire of standing. At an angle, it's difficult to keep the rear end on the seat as it's slick. It is highly structured (mesh) but has no friction whether you are wearing jeans or dress pants. There is some risk of it rolling under you, although the base ring (either very heavy plastic or rubberized plastic) grips the ground VERY well, even at extreme angles, so it doesn't come off easily. You can drop the seat below your hips and hold it there, but it takes some effort (yes I know, it's probably fine if you have to stand anyway). I like the chair so much that I would even like to cover it with other material, but I don't have time for this project right now. I'll try it for a few more days to test it longer and then maybe send it back. A few more notes: When using this chair on linoleum or carpeted floors, there is no creaking (like previous models I've read about) from the base or other noise. Also, the maximum measured height, which I think is 32 3/4 inches (check me on that, but whatever) might be reduced overall by squeezing the seat cushion, as well as slightly squeezing the center piston. two inches. Nothing out of the ordinary, but if the overall max setting is important to you, remember that it shrinks a bit under your weight.
