I have previously bought another pump (Joe, hit something) and it was horrible. He couldn't do anything to the preliminary valve. I would spend time trying to get him to activate the presta valve over and over again. Eventually I got fed up and decided to buy this one. This pump works all the time and is by far the best pump I have ever had. Your system just works and outperforms others. The tire doesn't bleed air when you turn it on or off and everything works as it should. In my opinion, this is the standard that other pumps should follow. This works with both valve types, so you don't have to switch from one type to the other. Easy to use and finally reliable.
