Some reviews here mentioned that the smell is too strong. If you are sensitive to the smell of cleaning products, this can irritate you. However, I liked the clean, fresh scent. I didn't find it cluttered and didn't find it very long after vacuuming. I don't use it on the fullness of my carpet. I suspect the cleaning smell would be quite strong if someone did this. I use it in areas of the house that are frequently used by people and my dog. It definitely freshens up the carpet and gets rid of those lingering pet odors that don't really seem to be coming from anywhere. There are no accidents with my dog in the house, but sometimes water gets on the carpet from wet paws and before you know it the smell is in the air. I think this product is perfect for those kind of smells. I only have to use it once every two weeks. The carpet seems to stay fresh for this time. If you have pet urine odor I would recommend a stronger product or clean carpets as this does not help.
