Review on Circular Adhesive Mounting Windshield Dashboard by Jose Moran

The overall ratings of this product seem to be pretty good but it didn't work for me personally. I used it to set up a wireless GPS note in my car. The bracket sat in my car for almost 2 years with no problems, but it eventually shifted and I had to replace the double sided tape. I prepped the service with an alcohol wipe and let it dry, then applied this 3M tape to the back of the GPS mount. It seemed to work pretty well, I waited 24 hours before inserting the phone into the holder with no problems. However, after about a week, the tape was partially peeling off my car on one side of the mount and partially peeling off the mount on the opposite side, so for some reason it wasn't properly adhering to either surface. Unfortunately for the rest of my life I don't know what I did with the rest of the pads, so I can't even verify if the problem is with that particular piece of tape or with the product itself. I'm pretty sure it was just a part based on 3 million repeats and ratings, but I have to give up a part that I actually installed.
