The mount arrived today and I installed the TV in about 30 minutes. The instructions are very clear and all the necessary equipment was in the package. I've read negative reviews (as always) and in this review I thought I'd fix those issues. The mount itself and all the accessories are of good quality. I read some reviews of cheaper mounts and decided to buy one with a double shoulder and some extra money for a more reliable unit. . This device is very high quality and very stable. Enough force to rotate the bracket. Screw holes and fittings are well designed for their use. I found the pilot holes to be drilled with a 7/32 bit to be a little tight. I used the old standard trick of rubbing the threads of the screws with some soap and they went in fine. While tempted to go a little higher to get some play in the hole, I decided I didn't want any more play. All mounting holes were accurate and the TV installed without any problems. I didn't use the cute little spirit level. I had my own little 6" level and used that. I also found the center of the bolt, used a spirit level to mark the level line, and then measured the distance between the bolt holes to figure out where to drill. For me it was an easier way to get the screws in the right place.The unit was assembled so well that once I placed the TV on the brackets I did NOT need any realignment or adjustment.I also found that the wall plate , the bracket assemblies and TV plate are more than adequately stiff and thick for mounting.I am very impressed with this unit and would not hesitate to purchase another if I need it.Adding in a few weeks.On my renovation I've found that I now want to connect my stereo to my TV, I read in another article that some TVs don't have the connectors e are covered by a plate. It was the same with my system. I marked a line on the panel where I wanted the panel to be cut. I fixed the plate in a vise and used a saw with a metal plate. Cut this slab in about 30 seconds. The mounting plate is of such high quality and rigidity that I was able to do it without sacrificing rigidity. I don't usually add pictures, but this time I'll show the TV and wall plate first as they were originally installed. The second shows the board after I cut it (then I also smoothed the edge and painted it black). The whole system is really high quality hardware. I would buy it again anytime.
