What a great sock! It is very thick with an inner layer that looks like puffy wool in a fabric while the outer layer is well made. I was a bit skeptical about these socks because I didn't know the label, but I would buy them again anytime. I like to think of myself as picky and cheap and this is an absolute steal in terms of quality! The only ones that are better are bombs when they are available for kids. I took off my daughter's boots and her feet were soaked with sweat, I could see the sock soaking up the sweat and helping her keep her temper. So I know they did a good job. I tell everyone about wool socks: don't tumble dry them if you can avoid it. This robs them of their softness and softness, as well as their ability to work the way they do when you first get them. And they don't take long to air dry. Hope that helps!
