I installed these laundry valves on the 2nd floor thinking it would be a lot cheaper than fixing a water leak. The valves are solid and shut off the water and appear to be well made. The control panel itself looks like it was designed by a college student working on a class project. Functionally yes, but there was clearly not enough time for the performance. Likewise, sensors are simply printed circuit boards with traces connected by a jumper to detect water. Works great, KISS, but strictly functional. One issue is the cables connecting the sensors, they look like they came out of a 1970's computer with those crappy little connectors that everyone hates. money spent. I think companies like Apple have raised the bar so that we expect well-made products to look good. If you're going into production, why not put in the extra effort?
