Great concept, easy installation.

We're swapping a folded pair of washer dryers and it's almost impossible to reach behind them to open or close the faucets. I found this on Revain and I think it will solve my problems. We can simply turn off the water supply while driving. It arrived quickly and was easy to install. We were able to test it before the arrival of the new device. The first test with water drops on the sensor did not result in anything. We then tested it by submerging the end of the sensor (away from the…

Solid product, 1970's design

I installed these laundry valves on the 2nd floor thinking it would be a lot cheaper than fixing a water leak. The valves are solid and shut off the water and appear to be well made. The control panel itself looks like it was designed by a college student working on a class project. Functionally yes, but there was clearly not enough time for the performance. Likewise, sensors are simply printed circuit boards with traces connected by a jumper to detect water. Works great, KISS, but strictly…

peace of mind. for home sensors and alarms

I used to install a single valve floodstop system for my dishwasher. We've been using it for over a year now with no problems. When I was remodeling my laundry room I decided to install this dual valve system for my washing machine. This system has two motorized valves (one for cold water and one for hot water). A sensor is located on the floor next to the washing machine (if you need to cover a large area, you can buy additional sensors and connect them in series). A drop of water is enough to

Second floor laundry room essential

For those of us who have a second floor laundry room, this is a must have. I dare say that in my experience this is a must have in any laundry. It was a key item for us when we remodeled our upstairs laundry room. In the previous configuration, there was no floor drain and the room was above the garage. I was always worried and nervous about a leak because if I wasn't home it would be unstoppable. During the renovation we installed a floor drain and added this fitting. Since I wasn't getting…

Provides peace of mind

Great product. Like many others who have purchased this item, we have a washing machine on the top floor of our home. We have an old car that sounds like a SpaceX rocket that's going to take off every time we do laundry, so it's always bothered me that one day I might come home and see my house flood, and Recreate this scene from Jumanji where water is flowing down stairs and giant spiders are trying to kill a 10-year-old boy. I don't even have a son, which is even more concerning! Seriously…
