Up until last week when I visited the salon for the first time in over a year my hair was very sad. A haircut and color was long overdue, and there was a lot of heat damage and split ends. I was usually able to hide them pretty well by adding tons of product and making them wavy on purpose, but simply letting them air dry in their natural state or blow drying them without straightening was an absolute disaster. You could really tell he was in a rough state. I thought this looked like the perfect opportunity to test this trio out because if they can fix my mop I'll be amazed. And I was amazed. My photos were taken over the next two wash days. Both times I brushed it while blow-drying. Using only an aerated brush as my goal was to dry and not smooth. The only product I used after washing was a leave-in conditioner/heat protectant. The "before" photo was taken after washing and conditioning with my usual products. The "after" photo was taken of this trio after washing. I washed my face, left the mask on for 20 minutes and applied gentle heat to it, then rinsed it off completely, applied some conditioner and used the squish to condition method to remove some but not all. So I have the feeling that the photos speak for themselves. Same damaged hair. The same methods. The results I've had with these products have been really impressive. My hair was soft and silky (which, you know, when you have hair of any texture, is usually a pipe dream unless it's fully straightened). I was also really blown away by how much less damaged it looked. My "after" photo was taken just before I walked into the salon and it *almost* made me change my mind about cutting off most of my length. I did it anyway because it was really unhealthy overall, but I love that I now have this product in my hair tool kit so I can pull out and use it to revitalize my hair when it starts looking sad again. I wish I had it sooner! It's been a long year with hair that could really benefit from the TLC these products can give them. Seriously, this trio is phenomenal. Highly recommended.
