I measured myself and checked the chart before ordering, I have also worn Adrianna Papell dresses before and a size 4 was what I always measured. However, this dress was huge in every way. Bust, hips floated on top of me. I come back. Unfortunately, the dress came in an envelope that couldn't be reused once opened, so I used the box I had. I had to take it to the post office and since it was a box the amount that would be deducted from my refund would likely take up almost all of my refund. I had to make sure I ordered it through Amazon Prime and will always do so in the future. PS I reordered the dress through Amazon Prime and it was double the price and the decorations are different and more glittery.
