I lost my Costa soft shell case for Tuna Alley sunglasses on my boat. I don't know what happened but I suspect my eldest daughter accidentally put it down somewhere and the wind blew it away immediately. I chose this case as a replacement and was pleasantly surprised. It is BIG without a doubt. So if you want something compact, keep looking because it's not. Ladies, it won't fit in your purse (unless it's a large bag). But it's surprisingly strong and durable. I don't worry about dropping the jars as long as they are in this box. Heck, in that case, I'd feel safe dropping them out the window of a three-story building. There is nothing here to damage the glasses as stated in a previous review and I don't mind my glasses when they are there. So, for security reasons, I love that. For the size and convenience of fur transportation. Overall I like them better than the standard clamshell case and I highly recommend them.
