It took a little longer than expected but I got it in the end. They're only for exercise, they absorb but can't hold liquid, they're not like pull-ups and they leak like any other cotton item, but since they're double-layered it helps to feel wet and get active. before leak. I use them to teach my son, who just turned six, to stop getting into those late-night accidents that happen all too often. At first I thought they were too big for him but after one wash and dry they shrink and fit perfectly. I also bought plastic underwear (it's like a blanket that helps prevent leakage into the bed) in the largest size, to put them on. We get up twice a night to help him potty and we're still working on it. wish us luck! They're meant to help, but they're not a solution unless you work on them with your child in a friendly way :-)
