Review on LHS Mandoline Vegetable Chopper Container by Raquel Perkins

I am a very experienced cook and have many years of slicing and slicing under my belt. Worked on professional equipment in various restaurants. Having worked with commercial slicers I wasn't expecting much from this mandolin but decided to give it a try. I needed something simple, cheap and easy to use for home cooking. This is a good product, I'm really very surprised! It does the job. Hard and soft vegetables or fruit - no problem. Of course you have to get to know him and find your corner. But it is not difficult to pierce, it has a very sharp blade. If you are not an experienced cook, you need to be very careful with it, feel free to use the included pen. I like the container below, very convenient for home use. I definitely wouldn't pay $200 for a Bron Coucke mandolin just for personal use. I'm not saying the LHS mandolin can compete, but for the price it's not bad! It can even be used for meat. Surprisingly good quality! PS As it's plastic and I wasn't sure how durable it would be I initially wanted to give it 4 stars but got 5. It holds up well in the dishwasher and is quite durable. I would recommend trying it out!
