FYNIGO Rechargeable Laser

[Update - 09/11/21] Minor update - Depending on your usage, this laser has decent battery life. Playing with light for 5-10 minutes every now and then will keep this laser running for days or weeks without needing to be recharged. Playing the same amount of games about once or twice a day meant it needed to be charged, maybe once a week. Charging seems fast enough too, although there's no charge indicator to really help you know when the battery is fully charged. Still one of the best purchases I've made! [Original review - 06/22/21] During this review I found that the brand of the lamp did not match the one listed but after purchasing this item I received a FYNIGO branded laser pointer so I am basing this review on that independently of how the two marks are related or whether they are one and the same. Consider this review a first impression as I have just received my laser and haven't had to charge it yet so keep that in mind. Straight out of the Revain box was a simple zippered case containing a small contact card, a bonus mouse, and the laser itself wrapped in a protective sleeve. The bonus mouse toy is just a very soft plush mouse with a cute feather tail and I didn't actually know it came with a laser so it was a nice little surprise. The laser itself works right out of the box. It feels nice and light in the hand and is very easy to use. It seems fun at first after using store-bought point-and-click lasers since it's at least twice as long, but to be honest it's a lot more comfortable to hold, especially since it has a slide button instead of a button. Switching between different laser lenses is pretty smooth and effortless thanks to the built in mechanism as I haven't had any issues with it getting stuck or anything. Although I bought this item due to the priority of having a rechargeable laser toy, being able to use the built in black light or flash by pushing the button a little further is quite neat, especially since it means you can only have a rechargeable toy instead I can also be a rechargeable flashlight in an emergency! I also like to carry a wrist strap/bag or clothing clip. The USB charger is easy to find by simply removing the cap that the strap attaches to. It fits into a USB port fairly loosely, but I haven't seen any lights or indicators to show it's charging or anything, but right now I don't think it needs to be charged. For now I can say that this is definitely a good product for the $8 price! Highly recommended for playing with Furbabies. :)
