Maybe it's because I've upgraded a mechanical soundbar in the last 3 years, but these bookshelf speakers are perfect for a solid, budget-friendly, apartment-friendly setup. The build quality is excellent, they feel very solid and solid with some clear hints of good engineering, the magnetic dust cover is a top notch touch which lets me know they will last longer than the old plastic pens. They also look beautiful on media consoles as part of a room. Sound quality is excellent, very good across the board with clear dialogue for TV and movies, but still a solid top end for acoustic music. While I know they are often used as surround or additional speakers, they are a great option for a 2.1 setup in an apartment. Bonus is they are made in Canada :)
