Review on Bialetti Kitty Stainless Steel Espresso Coffee Maker, 6 Cup Capacity by Josue Porter

I bought a 6 cup Kitty coffee maker because I was far out of town from my favorite espresso stand. I've had a daily habit for years and wanted to make sure I can still get something like this! I wasn't disappointed at all! It's a stylish little pot and full "6 cups" added to a cup of heated halves/halves makes the perfect 16 ounce brew strength. I've followed the advice of others and found that preheating the cup speeds up the brewing time greatly. water (I use 1-1/3 cups brought to a boil in the microwave), then add to the bottom of the brewer on the stovetop. I put 2 level scoops of finely ground coffee in a small strainer, screw the lid on the bottom (with oven mitts!), and in 3 minutes it's coffee. I had just enough time to measure out half and reheat in the microwave. I pour both into my giant coffee mug and enjoy. I highly recommend this lovely little coffee maker. It says it's designed in Italy and made in India.
