Bought the pedals for my 2006 BMW 330i a few years ago and they had these clamps and bolts and couldn't align them properly and they moved during use and if you overtightened it only made matters worse and ended up having my original pads back on the pedals and that $40 worth of crap going in the trash can. And those other pedals that you have to drill pilot holes and then buy super duper titanium drill bits and the place is hard to get to with a drill bit. Fast forward to 2021 and on my 2017 330i. Forget all the fuss and fuss above. The dead pedal is the second easiest to install. Cleaned the dead pedal 2/3 times with rubbing alcohol and removed the sticker and you're done. The gas pedal just got easier as there is no need to remove the glue and clean the gas pedal, just place it on the pedal, wiggle it a few times and you're done. Finally, the brake pedal is a bit harder. Only from the pedal do you remove the existing rubber and when trying to fit a new pad I found it easier to remove the metal cap from the new cap and then place the rubber on the brake pedal and then reattach the metal to the pad. brake pedal. Total time from start to finish is about 15/16 minutes and I have old eyes and sore knees. A believable story.
