Reliable drive, excellent value for money. The SimpleSave backup program starts automatically when the drive is connected. The software selects files for backup based on file extension only. It is not possible to back up an entire folder unless you know the extension of each file in the folder beforehand. Luckily, there are several ways around this, both of which involve not using the SimpleSave software. The first and easiest way is to just drag and drop the folder. But since I have many folders that I need to back up, I created a DOS batch file using Notepad or Wordpad that copies many folders without intervention.
