Disappointed with the quality

I was very disappointed with this product. This was the first external speaker I bought and I wanted to use it with my laptop. The sound is not sharp, too much bass (without correction for it). Also, I had to adjust the volume every time I opened a new window on my laptop; The sound just disappears as if I turned off the speaker completely. I would not recommend this speaker.
