I gave it five stars because I think it's fair as I don't really know if it works. We have a new cat. Our 1 year old cat seems fine except she started peeing on my son's bed. Nothing more. Just piss on the bed. We can't tell if this is related to the new cat or if it's just some kind of coincidence (Belle isn't the most emotionally stable of cats). We have this to help. It didn't stop peeing. However, she doesn't seem too worried about the new cat either. It helps? I can't say but my sister who raises cats says it helps her cats a lot so I will keep using it. I have four of these, one in each large room in our house. The new cat is very shy, but sometimes she allows us to pet her and purr her. Is it the pheromones? Otherwise would it be worse? I can not say. Maybe this review isn't helpful to you but I thought I'd share my experience and I didn't want to downgrade it because it seems unfair to the brand as I don't really KNOW if it works or not. . Will update as I get more data.
