Review on ๐Ÿป WeeRide Co-Pilot Bike Trailer by Kazam by Jeff Leu

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very good product at a great price

I ordered this bike trailer but never saw it in real life. But the price was less than $100 so I decided to take a chance. I was a bit nervous because there were several bad reviews that pointed to what reviewers called design flaws. These reviews are just plain wrong. This item is very well made. I think what happened to people who twisted was they attached the trailer mount to their seatpost but their seatpost wasn't tight. As they turned, their seatpost twisted. It's also possible that they tightened the bracket incorrectly. Despite the apparent inability of some buyers to properly install a trailer, it's actually quite simple. Four screws secure the mounting bracket to the seat post. Make sure these four screws are tight. Also make sure the seat post is secure. Then simply slide the trailer into the mount and install a quick release screw (cam mechanism like a bicycle wheel). The 4-bolt mount stays on the bike and a quick-release bolt can be removed to detach the trailer. The parts are well made and while they feel heavy compared to a light bike, they are very solid. My daughter is 6 years old and weighs 50 kilos. She can't ride a two-wheeler without training wheels. However, she really enjoys driving this trailer. I can feel her wobbling, but I tell her to focus on her balance and look ahead and immediately feel the wobbling stop. I suspect she will eventually learn to balance on her bike by riding in the back seat of this trailer. We rode about 15 minutes last weekend and then rode 10 miles. This thing is a winner. I'm so glad I bought this and would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of trailering.
