Better than Linksys by a start-up

Think you know the name of this company? No, you don't know. "Dyna" sounds like "dynamic" or reminds me of Cyberdyne from the Terminator series. Of course, "Linkโ€ reminds me of Linksys or TP-Link, well-known router manufacturers. But Dynalink? Nevahard about it. The logo looks fresh and this company feels like a startup. It should not be confused with other American Dynalink companies in the telecommunications and freight industries. It only has 3 products: this router, a game controller, and an Android TV box (which gets great reviews). The website dynalink.life (not dynalink.com) does not have a physical address for the company, but some web pages have Chinese characters. That doesn't mean it's a bad router - it just means it's a first-generation tech product. In fact, this is a powerful router. Got this to replace a Linksys EA9200 which like all Linksys routers just died. For all the glory of Linksys owned by Cisco and now Belkin, they don't impress me. All routers I have owned in the last 18 years have been owned by Linksys. They get very hot (which ends up killing them I think) and are tricky to set up. I've installed cheap routers for friends and find other manufacturers' setup pages easier to navigate. And this Dynalink AX3600 is very easy to set up. And it's not (yet) hot. The wireless range in my house is better than the EA9200 (which was twice the price of this Dynalink). The installation process is similar to Linksys: 192.168.1.1, login: admin, password: admin. Set it up with the same SSID (network name) and WiFi password as the router you're replacing and you won't have to re-enter your network details for every other device (including Alexas/Echoes). I used the same name and password - my home network doesn't seem to know that the old Linksys is dead. Dead and Good Deliverance. This Dynalink is better. Even if it doesn't give me the warm feeling of being a famous, authentic, $1 billion blue-collar company.
