Although the GPU itself was fine, the fan was the biggest problem. First, you can't go below 85% even if you're using the GPU for everyday non-3D "office" use. Second, even at 85%, the fan emits a high-pitched whine that wasn't "loud" but was definitely annoying and drowned out everything else in the room. I've since replaced it with the MSI version and it's quieter. Can't even tell if the fan is on. Lesson learned! Two stars deducted only because the core functionality (GPU) was fine even with the very annoying fan noise. For reference, this was installed on a Dell Optiplex 5050 SFF computer.
