I can admit that I made the wrong choice. I chose a card in the 20k category, but I forgot to ask about the cooling system specifically for this model. Thats what I got. The fans of this card are always spinning (minimum - 40%, 1488 rpm), which obviously affects its durability. Well, if you really, really listen, that in the silence you can still hear how it is spinning. And since I love complete silence, this matters to me. My last card (GTX 950 from MSI) served great for 4 years and remained literally like new. Largely due to the fans stopping without load. But what will happen to this GTX 1660 - I don’t know. At the same time, it is impossible to disable this function somehow, it is wired into the BIOS of the card. Why this is done - I can’t imagine. The idle temperature is 38-40 degrees, under load it is stable 72-73 degrees. Noise under load is quite noticeable (73 degrees, 2277 rpm, 67% speed). True, this noise is not audible in the headphones, but I play in them. When rendering, noise is heard, but does not interfere. GDDR6 Micron chip. There are no complaints about performance at all, everything is gorgeous. However, for now, I would certainly choose a card with the fans stopped at idle.
