This regulator will not fit 5/8" - 18Rh hose ends. I purchased a standard MIG hose with connectors on each end but the regulator does not have a connection method. I did not want the factory connection to I could cut off use this regulator. I tried to find a brass fitting that would go from the reg to the ends of the hose but to no avail. I even called the seller but they didn't help., the barbed hose fittings The regulator had brass filings on the side, the coupling (which goes between the regulator and the barbed hose fitting) was a bit loose (pipe lube would probably work), and when you screwed it on it was a little wobbly (not quite cross-threaded, but not exactly either.
