This product is stainless steel made for Revlon in China. It feels pretty solid. While easy to hold, I've found that thumb and fingers require some compressive strength to bring the blades together. Because of this, I don't know if this article is good for people with hand muscle weakness. They held hair well, sometimes too well because I used them to cut some hair rather than just grab it. I was able to grab the cut hair again to remove it. The blades are angled to allow for a precise grip. It is compact enough for travel. Overall, I would recommend this product to those who don't have arm muscle strength issues.
