Sure these condiment dispensers are nostalgic, but for me their big advantage is that they're easy to use and a lot less messy than new bottles that are supplied with branded products (particularly ketchup). These wide bottles that come with caps always have hardened ketchup caps after a few uses. My kids aren't the only ones who find it difficult to squeeze store-bought bottles. Until you use enough force to squeeze the ketchup out of the storage bottle, a small amount of ketchup suddenly comes out of the plastic cap. ? These containers are simply the best! While you can't seal them with lids, given the tiny size of the tube the spices pass through, little air gets in. Ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise seem to stay fresh in them as long as they're made in their original packaging. and if you're the type who likes to slather ketchup on top of a single serving of fries, this set is for you! Buy spices in bulk and add them as needed.
