I'm new to brush painting. I do this to make my bujo look better and also as a productive way to procrastinate. My main criteria for a set of pens is that they work and don't empty my wallet. From that point of view, this set of 18 pens from Dainayw is good value for my money. I used to buy a tombow at a craft store. For the sum of three tombows I can get this package. That seems like a good deal to me while I'm still studying. I tried the pens in my Eccolo magazine. Every color showed through, but not so much that I didn't use the back of the page. Some colors are more metallic than others. I'm not 100% sure of the names as they don't appear on the pen bodies, but one of the brown, black, and light blue shades seemed flatter than the other colors. The pen tips were inconsistent from color to color. I noticed that some inks had more than others and some nibs were smoother than others. Some colors faded, some didn't.
