Review on Champion Sports Deluxe Model X Large by Luis Tuazon

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The parachute itself is of good quality, the rope is sufficient, but the harness is of poor quality.

First of all, this parachute is very effective in providing enough resistance to a powerful sprinter. I've used 56-60 inch parachutes before and they help build some speed but it's never really challenged my body. Mainly because I'm 6ft and hover about 190-200lbs. Offer. I also do sprint workouts quite often. Positive aspects: - The parachute is very strong and its stitching is adequate - As I said above, the parachute offers excellent resistance - Affordable A couple of design criticisms: - The product page says it's 90 inches, when actually it's 85 inches is big. - The product image does not accurately represent the appearance of the Sprint parachute. The one I received does not have a mesh over the cords. This is important as the mesh prevents lateral deflection of the canopy by directing the airflow towards the center of the canopy. The strap has its issues. The size adjuster is unacceptable. Velcro is acceptable but if you are not careful it will snag on the cords and wear them out. Quick release mechanism where the cords are attached to the harness. The rope isn't bad, but it can be made from a material that won't fray. I gave this product 3 stars mainly because of the inaccurate description and picture. Oh I'm sure I'll have to buy a better strap (a Luge strap will do) and a quick release clamp.
