This speaker is a Klipsch R-52C center channel and weighs 15 pounds. In fact, I discarded the instructions for assembling the shelf. It sat pretty well without them, but I was afraid that the micro-vibrations from things like walking past the TV would cause it to fall off over time since I could get it to move across the glass with a simple tap of my finger to move. .If you plan to use this like I did (rear facing) note that the weight restrictions in the description may no longer apply. from television. The way I've set it up now is a perfectly normal weight, so I doubt 22lbs is applicable in that position. Good product!
