I think I'm luckier than other reviewers, but the drive only lasted (almost exactly) a year. Now when I plug it in, my computers flash it as an available drive, about 10 times a second. Crazy. So, prudently, I backed up to another safe location about once a month. Invite other users to do the same. Mine is headed for a hammer hit and then into an e-waste bin.
