I like the Boa system. I usually need to re-tighten my golf shoes after a few swings mid-round and the Boa system makes that easy. I would say that landing on them was a bit difficult. I usually wear a medium size 8 for almost every shoe from Nike to New Balance, Ecco to Allen Edmonds. My last pair of DryJoys was a medium size 7.5. For me, the optimal width is 7.5. I had to try 4 pairs (8m, 7.5m, 7.5w, 7w) to find the right size. The good thing is that Revain/Zappos makes it easy to try on multiple shoes. Returns should simply be dropped off at your local Whole Foods store. The weather protection is good, as is the grip. The grip isn't as good as with full soft cleats (or metal if you remember), but better than uncleated street golf shoes. As such, they fall somewhere in between in terms of grip and comfort when compared to regular spikes and spikes.
