However, it really does freshen your breath after it dissolves.

I would not recommend swallowing it. Got them for my summer flight trip. I didn't need all the pills, just a few to freshen up at my travel destinations. So I decided to give it a try. It says to chew until runny and then swallow which I did. As soon as it lowered, I had an uncomfortable feeling in my stomach. So next time I'll chew it up in an airport restroom and spit it out before I find my welcome party in baggage claim.
