Best in class towing weight ditro

We used a different product to tow our trailer as we first had a wind and sway problem with our old F150. We literally shortened our first ride because we didn't research enough towing capabilities versus payload limits and proper clutch systems. Needless to say this was eye opening for us and we have been using the EAZLift system for 3 years. So the question as to why we should switch from a rock solid towbar to BlueOX is ease of use and reputation. Very often you will see a class A bus behind it, pulling a car behind it. They have an excellent reputation for being a phenomenal product and truly best in class. Our dealer suggested one, but when it came time to shell out, it sold out, so we decided to go with another brand. Ball at least 2 inches above trailer tongue, screw head onto stem and proceed with assembly! No spacers needed, no need to check the fit 2 or 3 times, everything was literally measured and bolted! I used some Loctite RED on the 2 bolts connecting the head to the shaft and torqued to the specified 257 ft/lbs. Measure 29" from the back of the head to the trailer frame and install the swivel latches, test the chains. Making sure they hang down before they snap onto the trailer frame and that's all that is required to install, the rest is set up couldn't be easier! I've added a picture of a head with a ball attached, this is for reference because the other listing for the same item did NOT sell or install the ball! This is a 2 and 5/16 ball already installed on the coupler head. Why is this important, other installation guides have said you need to torque the ball head to 450 ft/lbs which I can't even fathom, let alone have a torque wrench that can do 450! So it was a blessing when he came out of the box with the ball already attached. What was not clear in the ad was the size of the ball, it is 2 and 5/16 and has a face value of £20,000. Hopefully this last point helps someone else who needs to buy this device. Last but not least, there are many videos online on how to chain, how to count 9 links and insert the chain into the rotating lock. Then use the included rod to lock it in place. Very easy! I add that it's good that you don't have a second rocker when reversing and turning, which makes life much easier, unlike the EAZ system. Overall big thumbs up for this product!
