Review on NARA Black Paper Alcohol Painting by Lori Aguirre

This is my first time using Nara paper. I was hesitant to throw money away at first as I had lots of white Yupo on hand, but I was happy to use a black surface for my art that wasn't canvas or tile. I'm so glad I did because I'm really impressed with this stuff. The ink flows well and the black background really makes it pop, which you can't reproduce on a white background. The best is the quality of the paper. Black is hard to work with and I made a few mistakes, lots of mistakes testing it. I was able to wipe it down three times and it looked brand new. I have never had that with any other surface apart from tiles. Being able to create unique art and not having to worry about wasting money on mistakes is worth every penny!
