Review on 🔊 PowerBass OE69C-TY 6x9" 160W OE Series 2-Way Component Speaker System - Unbeatable Sound Quality and Power by David Bott

I purchased these speakers in March 2020 for my 2013 Toyota Prius. The speakers are very similar to the OEM speakers but you will need to make small modifications as the mounting holes are not aligned. The sound is great and we haven't had any problems so far. After 10 months of daily use, the noise disappeared. I disassembled both speakers and noticed that the leads of both capacitors had come loose from the solder. Looks like a bad solder joint design. After I soldered the dots back it worked fine again. If someone buys them, please double the soldering points. UPDATE: 4/14/21. I noticed, that my speaker in the right door was not working again and took out the speaker. and noticed that the resistance just broke off AGAIN. There is also a hole on the resistor (see picture). This product is a waste of time to keep fixing it. They will end up in the trash and only a little after a year. It is better to look for another reliable company.
