Purchased for use with DirtDevil Power Express. The original DD filter that comes with the vacuum can be thoroughly rinsed, which means water will pass through it (no flipping required). I had previously purchased a Home Revolution brand filter and while it looked the same as the original DD filter, visually there was no water leakage. When rinsing, water accumulated and had to be poured out. These filters share the same logo as the Home Revolution brand. One lets the water flow like the original DD and the other holds the water back like the Home Revolution version. I believe the version that retains water doesn't get erased either. In addition, the "edge" around the filter opening on the Crucial model is slightly deeper, which reduces the air passage area. In bright light, there is a noticeable difference between the two Crucial filters, but it's impossible to tell if there's a difference in performance (as expected, suction power improves with the new filter).
