Women's medium - way too large for a size 8.5 boot

I ordered a women's medium cleat for my size 8.5 boots. The cleats are way too large for the boots. Particularly the back strap is too long. These cleats will not stay on. Otherwise, they seem like a great cleat with replacement parts which is always very nice.

These are atrocious. I wore them for the first time today on hard pack snow and ice and they kept slipping off the back of my feet (I did order the correct size) but the bigger problem is that over the first quarter mile I lost four of the cleats on one foot and two on the other. Do yourself a favor and pony up the extra money for some YakTrax.
