Review on πŸ’» Samsung S70A Borderless TUV-Certified 4K Monitor with High Dynamic Range, Blue Light Filter, Wall-Mountable LS32A700NWNXZA by Gregory Ibanez

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good monitor, bad lighting.

This is the first time I have such a large monitor and the first VA panel after almost exclusively IPS. I have to say this monitor is amazing. Colors are great, didn't get to test much with HDR as my GPU is old and struggling with it, but it's still good without HDR. Unfortunately mine has pretty bad flare at the bottom on the left side. You can see the LEDs glowing in the second picture from below. Will bring that back and probably move on to the LG 32UL500 because it doesn't seem to be a problem. As far as I know, my review is the first for this monitor. UPDATE: I'm deducting another star because I've been using an LG monitor for a few weeks and I find it to be much better overall, albeit cheaper. Color wise I put two monitors side by side before returning and the LG is brighter and seems to have better viewing angles with less color shifting. The only LG downsides are the uglier bezels and the overall build quality feels a bit cheaper. But the actual panel is nicer and the overall cost is lower. I would still highly recommend this Samsung if you can get your hands on it without a hitch, it's been a pleasure to use and while LG has the best colors the Samsung is still more than enough for work and the occasional game I do.
