Review on DRYCASE Masonboro Waterproof Adventure Backpack by Tony Kingdom

Revainrating 5 out of 5

3 years later. durable waterproof bag.

First impression - I'm glad I bought it. So far I've gotten it on the boat and my stuff has stayed dry. It can fit a bunch, which is nice. I tried filling it with water and it held most of it. It only lets a little water through at the top where the bag closes, but only if you hold the bag upside down. Also, 5 stars are a good first impression. Update May 31st 2015 - The metal grommets on the sides have been rusted by seawater so I'm a bit disappointed to find this. Less than 1 star. The bag is still waterproof because the eyelets are only on the outside wall and are not connected to the inside. I hope they remove the outer metal grommets from future product design. The dangling, loose straps are definitely a bit annoying. However, it's still a good bag, but it could be improved. May 19, 2017 - This bag is POWERFUL. I've been throwing it over tarmac, sidewalks and still no breaks for years and the air valve on the bottom works fine. Just a bit worn on the outside, but that was to be expected. In fact, you can inflate it and throw it in the water and it will float. So your stuff doesn't sink immediately when it goes overboard :) I'd better sum it up by saying this is a basic, no-frills, sturdy bag for when you need to keep your stuff dry. The dual waist and chest support makes longer walks easier by distributing the weight. The molly on the side comes in handy if you have a dive knife or similar. It wasn't clear to me until now, but the bag is actually just the right size for the maximum hand luggage volume. 22"x14"x9" :) I changed the rating back to 5 stars and added more photos as they worked. There aren't many good quality products out there and this is one of them.
