I bought a screen protector for my new phone because I couldn't remember the brand of my last phone. This one isn't very dark in comparison and I have to dim the lights so people can't see it. After a week I got a huge tear from it and now I have to look at it every day. This seems to be a common problem with a privacy screen that uses tempered glass, but I've never had this problem with my Tech Armor screen. Sure, the crack on the privacy screen is better than the crack on my REAL screen, but it's just as annoying to look at and very obvious. I will be buying Tech Armor again instead, especially since they are the same price.
