I'm allergic to aspirin/salicylic acid, which is in basically every topical pain relief product out there. Years ago a pharmacist directed me to jointflex as the (at least then) only product on the market that wouldn't kill me. And it worked! It worked so well that I keep a tube in every single one of my tool boxes, my truck, and all of my bathrooms. I also recommend it to every single person who asks me for a topical pain reliever, and they've all been incredibly happy with it.I do a lot of trowel work and have a "classic boxer's break" that wasn't set correctly. After a couple of hours working with a trowel, the pain starts to set in. I've gotten into the habit of coating my hand with this, putting on a nitrile glove, and taping the wrist before I start working. If some pain does start setting in throughout the day (constant pressure on a bad break will do that) I just reapply some more and can keep on working. The really great thing about this (besides it working so well) is that it's non-greasy/slimy and soaks into your skin pretty quickly. The light scent also goes away once it's absorbed.
