First: I live in the South West (dry and hot!), have sensitive combination skin and use tretinoin for acne and anti-aging. Secondly, first let me say that I love this cream, it is so soothing to my skin and helps reduce redness. But I use it differently than a moisturizer. Since I'm using tretinoin, which is insanely drying to my skin, the rest of my routine is all about hydrating, hydrating, and repairing my skin barrier. I use this cream to restore my skin barrier more than one moisturizing factor and to have a good occlusive barrier so I have less transepidermal water loss during the day (I use CeraVe moisturizer which is heavier at night) and to soothe my skin with Zentella. In all these things he does an excellent job. If you have sensitive skin with a disturbed skin barrier, you should definitely try it! It can also be a great tool in your skincare arsenal that you might not use every day, but it can help repair your skin barrier if you're breaking it down with too many actives/exfoliants. Remember skin care is a trial and error process and how you use it will depend on your needs.
