I chose these sandals because they are crocheted. I knew this would add some stretch to the loop around the toe. My second and third toes were overgrown, yes I'm serious, but I really wanted to wear sandals! I dared and am happy to report that they fit perfectly on both toes and don't look too weird. Hooray! I wondered if this would compress my toes but they are quite comfortable and make me feel and look like I'm in a fairy tale. The strings are quite long and I was able to wrap them over the ankle several times, you can easily play with them how you want to tie them. Wrap once and tie a larger bow and tie in front or back, definitely multiple options! It's hard to say how long they will last until I have more occasions to wear them, but for the price I'd say you can't go wrong with them, especially if you want them for a specific occasion.
